By the way, incredibly talented musician and innovative composer and poet.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Thanks for posting, great video  8) A lot of scenes with the Shelby that I've not seen before. On Youtube there was some criticism

of the clips from Bullitt & Vanishing Point, I thought it added to it. I got a rush from how the music builds towards the end with the

speeded up scenes .

I was lucky to see the Doors in Toronto, Canada, September '69 along with Lennon & Yoko and others  8)

Wow! Seeing The Doors live! I never really noticed the Doors on my radar until more recently. As a musician I can say they gave great value for the money, so to speak, with the songs they wrote because you got 7 and 10 minute songs unlike the short stuff these days that are usually only 2 minutes and 30 seconds maybe 3 minutes. Some of you know I write for piano and it isn't easy to write a 3 minute piece without running out of musical ideas to keep it interesting. The Doors had no such problem. Very talented they are.  Dig up Jim and clone him? We are getting to that point in technology. It could happen some day.

As an addendum, seeing McQueen's Mustang coming over that hill at moderate speed watching its rigid body gently bounce on the softened suspension is so aesthetically pleasing to my eye.

Perils of alcoholism. Steven King even says as a writer he would have been more productive but for his own alcoholism and drug use.

Always was one of my favorite songs and seeing this video with the added clips makes it even better. Right up there with the Radar love video from White Lion. Gary
