History repeats itself. Drop the unique Shelby and replace it with a easier to produce quasi performance model.

But consider the '69/'70 Shelby GT350 with it's 351W engine versus the, it was replaced by, '70 or perhaps even more accurate to the statement of replaced by, the larger '71 MACH I with the 351C 4V (we'll leave out the BOSS 351 as I guess it's not technically a MACH I), or how about the '69/'70 GT500 with the 428CJ FE engine versus the '70 MACH I with the same engine and drivetrain or the '71 "Big-Block" MACH I with the 429 CJ/SCJ 385 series engines?
Who.......... performed better?
