History repeats itself. Drop the unique Shelby and replace it with a easier to produce quasi performance model.

     Now be nice.      :)

But consider the '69/'70 Shelby GT350 with it's 351W engine versus the, it was replaced by, '70 or perhaps even more accurate to the statement of replaced by, the larger '71 MACH I with the 351C 4V (we'll leave out the BOSS 351 as I guess it's not technically a MACH I), or how about the '69/'70 GT500 with the 428CJ FE engine versus the '70 MACH I with the same engine and drivetrain or the '71 "Big-Block" MACH I with the 429 CJ/SCJ 385 series engines?

     Who.......... performed better?         :o

     Scott.

480 HP would have been a crazy number in 1969 and probably nearly impossible to insure. Now its just a fraction of whats available.

Not just 480 HP but the technology and ability to enhance even further its performance with a few clicks.  Did i mention the superior suspension and tires ?

Just a matter of time before the bean counters take over and recommend not to pay the additonal royalty fees....

Not impressed, truly has nothing to make it really stand out and say the Mach 1 has arrived. Reminds me of when they reintroduced the Z-28, just a decal package.  No shaker hood ????

I could live without the shaker, but it needs the "Hockey-Stick" stripe!        ;)

     Scott.
