Hi all,

Does anyone recognize this ad and where it was ran back in the day?  I have the piece, but neither side ID's the publication nor a date.  It also is not a common ad.  Very cool.

I expect it was a one time deal, like the Montgomery Ward's Quarterly magazine ad with the same image used in the 65 GT350 postcard.  A one time deal.

Thanks

Cory

I wish I could be of more specific help here but I did have that ad in the original program a LONG time ago. I'm 95% sure it was a 1965 ahra program of some sort. It had very simple red cover. Wish I remembered more. That's the only place I've ever seen that particular ad.

Kind regards,
Vern

Anyway to enlarge dealers info so it is legible?. Neat article. Thanks

I saw it on eBay a couple weeks ago.  I had never seen it up until then.

I'm assuming it is showing #002 and #003?

i dont think this was 5R003 because of the Vent Window ...

CharlesTurner

003 never had production style Cragar center caps (when it had Cragars installed).  Can always rule out a car being 003 if it has the production style CS with white background.  The only Cragar center caps it ever had were the milled center caps with no logo in the middle.

Here is a higher resolution copies.  The total ad not so good, but the dealer list, much better.

Enjoy

Yes legible when enlarged. Thank you, very interesting  ad. Is this all of the dealers Shelby sent to? I wish to collect licence plate frames from as many dealers as possible

Coralsnake

The franchise dealerships were constantly changing.

Not all dealerships used "dealer" frames
