Air filter wing nut

Good morning guys, is this a correct style wing nut that would’ve been on 6S281 originally?

6S281, in my family from 1972-1983. Back home January 2017, will not leave again!

Yes and also one with the double dimple was used 65-67 . Less frequently however. Most likely a vendor difference although the double fits the double dimple in the lid quite well.

That nut with the single hump had a c7zf eng # . Years ago i had a case of 500 of them unopened that came out of ford plant and the box had a c7zf # on top of lid. I kept a handfull and sent the rest to amk to sell in his catolog.

    There is a vendor that sells used ones for $24 almost five times that of an NOS one. Great value!
