......Finally, look at the wheel balance weights. Looks like a lot of weight was added. What's up with that?

Sand cast wheels, a little bit of sand gets knocked off the mold before it's poured and/or variations in machining. I saw one that when mounted the rim and tire ran true but the center moved about 1/16 of an inch when you watched it rotate.
