1970 Red flat hood Boss 302 M2
« on: January 11, 2021, 12:59:31 PM »
Found a 1970 red flat hood Boss 302 M2 collectible at Walmart this morning. It appears to be a new Goodyear Series for the "New Polyglas GT" tire.

If you don't mind my asking, what was the price on it?

NICE - I see it has one “kill” marking already, ala my favorite WWII fighters!

I think it was $4.97 @ Walmart. Checked the other day and none left.

The apparent inspiration for the livery on the M2 collectible at Walmart:

It's a Goodyear decal on the doors, so I assume it killed a set of tires.

I thought they were "Bowties".  Kinda like notches in a bedpost!   ;D

Okay - I couldn't tell in your photo.

But I always got a kick out of that Bowtie 'kills' photo, and the M2 toy is the first time I've ever seen it mimicked!
