Eric, it seems like you made the right decision.   :)

Thanks Brian.  Glad to see you are an XKE owner.  Here is my 65 which was the craziest restoration ever.  I had Classic Showcase in CA do the car and I put my son through an ivy league education for alot less.  But the car got Grand Champion.

At the risk of topic drift, I just wanted to compliment Eric on his E-Type.   Classic Showcase did my '66 E-Type FHC.  Opalescent Silver Blue.

That is all I'm saying on the Jaguar topic on the B9 thread.....beep.   :-X

considering Shelby American was born off of a 2 seater English sports car We should all give a pass on this.  8) I love those old XKEs too.

We're still on topic. Is it a Boss 3.8 or Boss 4.2?
I sold my rust bucket E to a guy from England who comes here every few years to take a restoration project home. He emailed me after he got home and it turns out the Jag was originally sold by the dealer 5 miles from his house. A serviceman bought it new then took it to Germany then to Virginia when he came home then to FL when he retired then to CA and finally back to England.
