The problem seems to stem from rebuilding the adjustable proportioning valve.

Henny Youngman. "Doc. It hurts when I raise my arm and do this". Doc replys, "don't do that".

Have had 2 white post rebuilt valves start leaking when used with silicone over the past couple years.

Charles, did you perform an autopsy to determine where the leaks were coming from? Were these valves sleeved?

Don't recall exactly, weep hole and rear I guess.
