Resizing images

Just did a post and the picture that I linked from my gallery came out as big as a bed sheet. Are there any tutorials on how to resize images. Thanks. Brian

Try this from Bossbill.  The image width referenced is pixels, I think.  An HD monitor is 1920 wide by 1080 high for comparison, so 800 might be a good try.

Here is an easy way to do it...

Put the picture on your desktop
Right click your mouse and select "open with"
Select Microsoft PAINT
Use the resize box by changing the horizontal % until your picture is around 600-800 wide on the scale
Save your resized photo

I've been adding the "img width=999" on my oversized photos. That seems to give the largest viewing size without the scrolling side to side.
