1967 Shelby In-board Lights Wiring Harness Clip
« on: May 26, 2021, 01:50:40 PM »
I cannot find any images out there, anywhere, on this wiring harness clip. This is based off of my memories but does this clip look correct? Any details or dimensions of an original or pics? I’ve reached out to a few here but no responses yet?

Thanks!!
Matt

So those are inboards.  What did outboards use and where were they placed?

The outboards have a short piece of black and green wire pigtail that is attached at the same point on the headlight harness as the inboards. The outboards don't require a clip for its short run of wire.

Thanks JD!!

I’ve tried to PM 1690. I’ll try again. Many thanks for the pics! That helps a ton! I found when blasting mine the original area and adhesive residue was much larger than what I found as pictured. 👍👍👍

That explains why I don't have them.  Thanks Bob.

...also, not all inboard cars got these Shelby added clips, the very early cars didn't have them.  Car #112 does have them, but remember Shelby completion dates factor into this (again) and even that isn't always "gospel"!!

Yes and to expand , the earliest cars had a zip tie used to hold the wire at the hood latch support. The same type used for oil pressure line or amp gauge wire at the export brace.

Hi Everyone…I have not been here in awhile so I’m sorry for the late response. I’ll have to have more made, but it doesn’t take long. I’m not sure if they require a minimum order.

Can I get everyone to reply how many they need? I’ll probably have you pay in advance so I don’t get stuck.

Thank you,
Nick
