« on: April 16, 2018, 11:04:58 PM »
Here is a great story.  I think it was discussed last summer, but here is some more detail.   There is a video in the link but I haven't figured out how to post it here, so go to the link to read and watch the story about 6S1202

Such a cool lady and shows proof that you are never too old to enjoy these cars.   :)

Thanks for posting that for us to view.  Very cool video and great writeup.  She is quite the lady and is correct when she states that you need muscles to steer these cars!  I love her comments regarding the original owner's manual!

Thanks for sharing. First time I've seen the car or pictures of the wife's sister car 6S1203. Almost exactly the same car as far as options except for the wheel choice.

Jeff,

Was 6S1203 originally blue? I have it listed in my records as white, have I got it wrong?

Yes 6S1203 was originally blue - built in the middle of a Hertz  order so automatic with chrome magnums rather than the painted.

I may have posted pictures of the car long time ago as it came home. Had been pearl white since 71 for sure - possibly 69 or 70 by the guy before us.  Owner use to hang around the street racing group I was part of around that time. Bought the car off him about 10 years later after he put it in storage in the 70's

Thanks Jeff, I checked the Registry last night and found the correct information. I mistakenly took it from pictures I had on file of a white car. Not sure where I got the pictures from, but it included a copy of an Invoice to S&C for $2,450.

Always good to correct my errors.

A very unusual and unique woman.  So is the attitude and mentality of the daughter.  Hat's off to them.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"
