Am looking for the Autolite tag that was attached to the 65 GT350 trunk mounted battery/ Anyone have one to part with?

I would be interested in knowing what tag attached to the battery you are referring to. Do you have any photos or other documentation?

have seen several pics of rear mount batteries that have a tag on it.

As well as bunch without the tag. I don't remember what my original battery even looked like much less if it had a tag or not. But now 50 plus years later, I am trying to fix stuff that may not be broke, or missing.

Nether the battery or the tag are correct in the historical context you are looking for. The tag is something a Dealer would have put on when changing out a battery. It is not something that would have been added during pre inspection detailing at the selling dealer.

I knew battery was not correct, but was not sure of tag. Thanks for clarifying the tag as improper.
