No Way is the production car going to look like that.  Not for Mustang $$$.

P.S.  The bottom rendering has two squared-off tires/wheels.  Thumpty-thumpa.

That's quite a distance from the outside rocker panel to the inside seating position; I would doubt that this would be produced as represented here.     :-\

Looks like they are going for the shooting brake look - ala Callaway Vette. Maybe they'll step it up and give us a Ferrari Lusso look.

^^^  Modern Lusso:   AKA "The world's fastest shoe."    (Not the original gorgeous Lusso!)

Ferrari really lost it for a few years recently.   Back on track now, IMO.

Rear visibility seems somewhat” lacking”…..
It's the 21st century - probably a camera. Would actually save them money as they wouldn't need the switches etc when using it only as a BU camera. Hooked to the lane monitor steering wheel shaker it could alert you to cars in your blind spot if you tried to change lanes in front of them.

Might as well make better use of the .gov mandated camera - requires all vehicles weighing less than 10,000 pounds, including buses and trucks, that are manufactured on May 1, 2018, to come equipped with rear visibility technology that expands the driver's field of view behind the vehicle.
