Today I was at a local car show hosted by the Historical car club of Pennsylvania. it is held twice a year at the Delaware County Community College campus. as I made it to the Mustang Row, I spotted a 1966 GT350 at the end. low and behold, there was Chuck! it was great to see him out and about with his car.

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

A few years ago at the Laguna Seca Historic Races, Ford had a big display to introduce the new GT350.  Saw Chuck just standing around.  Went up to him and starting asking a few questions-he asked me to sit down and we talked for 30 minutes about 'the old Shelby days.'  Interesting and very nice guy.

When I used to go the Hershey Fall Meet annually, I would inevitably bump into Chuck at some point. It became a joke, and for a number of years we would chuckle when we saw one another, and say, "Ha.There you are! Same time next year, OK?" or something equally goofy. Not having attended the show for some time, I have missed the opportunity to see him. Sure hope all is well, Chuck!
