Wore a double mask the whole time I was there. It's Friday today and still no ill effects yet. Most did not have masks on during the convention. Vaccinated are at as much risk as unvaccinated from what I've read. The vaccine wears off fairly quickly.  You have to do a lot of digging to find such information because Google buries these articles 10 or 15 pages down the line.

As an addendum, I am not one to drive alone wearing a mask. I removed the mask once I got out of the convention and opened a window to air out the car.  Covid is mostly transmitted indoors. There might have been residual contamination in the Shelby during the show (if there was any contamination at all.)

Masks are just second nature to us here. I actually now feel naked without one going out.

Rebel against them if you like but that doesn't change anything.

I actually have a list of things that I don't like. Antiperspirant deodorant stings. I hate that. Is there a face book rebellion page against that? Deodorant HAS TO BE a conspiracy!

Go play golf or something? Bend up and brake your clubs if you suck. That's just as productive as anything else and replacing them funds the golf club manufacturers so that adds to the economic recovery.  ;)

Really nice cars coming out of there. That red Hertz isn't too shabby either? I thought you were taller?

Short by Icelandic standards. And northern German and Dutch standards as well. Malnourished as a kid I was?

The black Torino Sport is owned by Rick Schmidt of National Parts Depot fame. Part of their 150+ vehicle collection. Met him at the hotel bar on Sunday after MCACN ended. He and his fellow driver just finished loading the Torino in the trailer and were prepping for the ride back to Ocala, FL. He said he wanted to bring "something differrnt". It was.

OK - I liked the 70 Road Runners - my first new car was one. Also liked Grumpy's Toy. He used the guys garage who lives up the street from me when he was in SoCal.
