This latest issue of The Shelby American is great. Reading the Ken Miles interview and the reprint of the  Car and Driver piece by Steve Smith “The Ford in Carroll Shelby’s Future” was an eye opener to the sad decline of automobile enthusiast magazines we experience currently. I had just finished “reading” my latest issue of Road & Track. Gee golly whiz-bang! There is more content in one of the Shelby American articles than the entire Road & Track, which apparently is intent on saving ink or something. Pages with almost no printing, splashes of colorful images that must be appreciated by some “readers”! Oh well, just some thoughts by an old “boomer” that misses Peter Egan, Rob Walker, Brock Yates, David E. Davis, Steve Smith and others. Thankful we still have Rick Kopec.

I sit by the mailbox each day waiting for it
Nothing yet 😪
Owned since 1971, now driven over 245,000 miles, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

Arrived today, Dec. 2nd. 2021 in rainy, blustery, Ontario, Canada, just East of Toronto.

Suppers finished, now put my feet up in front of the fire with a beverage and peruse !

Thanks to every one's hard work to make this possible !

Arrived in Germany through swiss mail distribution. Seems I missed a lot in the digital versions. Interesting article on 5R529 and the peruvian R-models and the Orange Blossom Special and...and.. Thanks for all the decades of digging for new untold stories.

Indeed sad what has happened to all the car mags.
At least we still have the annual, and if you use
Hagerty Insurance they print a quarterly that is full of great articles and entertaining stories.
So not all is lost, at least for now.
