Pretty badazz to hear it come about 2-degrees away from dying, then taking a big breath and continuing.

Sorta like my grandpa.

I saw this car at the National Mustang Day show held this past April at the AACA Museum in Hershey. It was trailered into the parking lot of an adjoining hotel, unloaded and driven into the show. It is a fastback customized to look like a Shelby. The footage was shot at the nearby Tanger Outlets Mall in Hershey, about a mile away.

The wave idle is a common effect with large Rootes style superchargers, I heard it many times when working on the NHRA National Event crew in the 1970's.

That is quite the Challenger.  Look at those meats in the back and little runners in the front.  Perfect stance.  I can almost smell the racing fuel through my laptop.

Way back John Paradise had a '69 GT500 that was similar. I don't remember ever having heard it run?
I just saw pictures of it. I haven't seen the car since. That's got to be '75 ish?

I'm thinking of a red 69 GT500. There may be a 68 also that I don't remember.

I'm pretty sure I have those Super Fords bound and on the shelf.

Some on here must've never heard a pure race Drag Car  ::)  ;D
