These prices seem crazy to me. But what do I know.

ZOOWIE ! indeed for #643, from the Mecum description, "factory finished with Le Mans stripes"  ???

They sure do look Purdy with the stripes.

I doubt 6S845 had stripes either - 843 didn't and left SA at the same time and went to the same places - HiPerf Motors & LAX.

Looks like the Shelbys are pulling better than the estimates and the Cobras not as well.

Wow! That was an exciting day for 1962-70 Shelby products.

Tune in tomorrow to see how 5R002 does!

This was an exciting event today. The prices for Ford products and Shelbys was way above what folks predicted. The two '66 Shelbys were bid to what they were worth, and I think the one owner was happy to let it go for that price. Other cars seemed to be astounding in their sale price - this was a seller's market for sure.

I think we will see the time in the future where there is no such thing as a common 58-67 Corvette. All the common non rare high dollar ones will all be restomodded.

Those selling numbers are really healthy.  Times are good.
