Those selling numbers are really healthy.  Times are good.

QSS

Yeah.... it's just like the bidders/buyers just found out how rare they really are, and they are not making anymore of them.

I think it is more like folks are not crazy about the other options so they are moving cash into investment quality goods. The buyers seem to be more appreciative of the 1967 - 70 Shelbys from what I saw yesterday. The early models didn't share the bidding activity despite being equal in terms of quality of the merchandise.

that was strange !!!! 5r002 was stuck to 3 400 000,00 under the reserve ,not moving , even the last bidding was 50 000.00 , and suddenly bang 3 700 000,00 !!! why somebody would bid an extra 300 000 ?? not moving up slowly ? looks fake to me !!!!!

It was dragging along - time is money. They may have told the bidders your next bid better be your max or we'll "bid goes on" the car.
But, only the shipping manifest will tell. Anybody able to hang around and see where the truck goes?

I notice this happened with a few other cars too. Bidding stalls & young Mecum telling the high bidder what it would take to buy the car.

Stuck at $3.4M to $3.7M…Is it not likely deal was made to buyer all in at $3.7M, not $3.7 plus 10%??

I looked at the last GT500KR that sold Friday night. It had the early rear quarter panels with the recessed rear reflectors. Is that possible on a KR?

Registry has a note about repairs to quarter panels due to transportation damage.
"Caution Fan" sticker in the front & wrong fuel cap emblem in the back don't help however.

Never

Seriously you’re changing quarters on an expensive car and you didn’t notice that?
