Buddy Belzer’s 65 GT350’s
« on: January 17, 2022, 11:07:45 PM »
Back in 1990/1991 I was a sophomore in College and went to a car museum in Spearfish SD.  There was  65 Street and 65 R model owned by Buddy Belzer.   I remember speaking with the person working at the museum that morning and she said he was a local guy that was a private racer.   I see he currently is listed as owner of #11 and 236 in the current registry.

I would love to hear more about his cars, involvement and racing.  Just curious if he is an active member or if some others have more history on him in the Shelby world?

Thanks, Scott

Many years ago, in a weak moment, Buddy gave thoughts of selling #11 and I flew out to meet him and see the car.  Sadly, we couldn't come to terms and I passed on it which I'll admit is one of the stupidist things I've ever done.  Fortunately for Buddy, he came to his senses and kept the car.

The hipo block I’m currently running in my car came from Buddy. Sat with him at several Tulsa meets. Hey Buddy…hope all is well!
