50 Years
« on: February 20, 2022, 11:24:01 AM »
CSX3141 My ultimate auto then, and now!  I was 19 years old and found ad in Comp Press, and purchased the car with my father’s help from Bob Guest Sport’s Car Center.  A high school friend and I drove the car from TX to IL.  The car has been on and off the road since.  MG

Yes, the car has an original factory installed Lincoln Cruise-o-matic transmission as used in the Thunderbolt project done in 1965-66 at Shelby American in the day.

Glad to see such a beautiful example  never knew they made auto trans in the big block cars
Owned since 1971, now driven over 245,000 miles, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎
