65 Dash Pod
« on: March 23, 2022, 01:36:20 PM »
Many years ago when I owned a 65 Shelby I bought a replacement dash pod.  I never replaced the old one because I grew to love the patina.
I remember at some point whether it was a SAAC article or here on the forum there was discussion as to how to tell the originals from after market.  Mine is in it's original box marked S1MS.
I bought it around 1987-1990.
Thanks

Yours should be vacuum formed , textured plastic with a fiberglass stiffener.

It is as you described.  The fiberglass has separated a bit on one side.  Any thoughts on value?
Thanks

Great looking piece.
There are different versions in addition to Ford services piece correct?
