Rear Valence Tie Down Sticker?
« on: March 31, 2022, 10:34:09 PM »
Did the 66 Hertz Shelbys with stripes built in March of 66 have the decal on the rear valence regarding removal of tie downs? Or, was it removed during the stripe painting and then not replaced?

I have not seen evidence that it  was replaced. I have seen some with painted over adhesive residue and some small paper pieces of sticker that had stripe paint on them.  The area is covered by the license plate so I don't think that SA  were very concerned about tidiness in that area. If you are going to stripe the car I would not suggest to put on the tie down sticker.
