Anyone have an original set for sale? Mounting hardware would be great too.

Thanks!

Are you referring to the fog lamp support bracket and angle supports?

PM me if interested

I'm actually looking for the two metal brackets that connect the center of the fiberglass shelf to the hood latch/grill.

Sounds like he wants the letter panel braces?

I think he's looking for the two triangle shaped brackets

Gotcha, Thanks. I was going off of the description being the header from other posts. So what brackets exactly? What is a shelf? the panel that holds the fog lamps?

The triangle brackets do not attach to the hood latch support support. The letter panel brackets attached to the latch bracket. Not sure what he means by shelf

Coralsnake

He didnt say hood latch?

The only "shelf" is the one the lower valence sits on and supports the fog lamps.

Correct.

I've heard the letter panel referred to (incorrectly, apparently) as the 'shelf' that breaks often when people lean or sit on it. Regardless, I'm missing those two metal pieces and could use them.

Thanks. That what I thought and posted this originally and deleted. I got a pair but I think they are repo. They came with my 68 Shelby in 2006. My friend just picked up one original one he said and I have his originals that I want to verify the bend angles off of another friend's car soon. I'll ask if he has more than one spare. The mounting hardware should be 2 regular washer bolts that thread into these brackets plus the 2 for the latch support bracket. Can be bought real cheap from AMK. I may have some spare ones in my stash of replated hardware. the C-clips on the support are common items also.

Thank you, sir.

Ill look into the AMK as a band-aid, but definitely need to source a good original set. Please let me know if something pops up!
