1931 Ford 5 Window Coupe Hot Rod
« on: May 31, 2022, 08:00:19 PM »
I’m posting this for a friend.  Wayne Pitman was the President of Wayne Pitman Ford Inc. in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.  He retired several years ago and is still a strong Ford guy and owns a few interesting classics.  He has decided that he just does not use his hot rod enough to justify keeping it and is looking for a new custodian for it.  This will be a great buy for someone who appreciates these types of cars.  If you or anyone you know might be interested in this very cool vehicle, contact Wayne directly – contact info below.

The rust-free body came from California about 10 years ago.  The owner at that time started to restore the body and build the hot rod but unfortunately passed away before he got very far.  Wayne bought it on February 4, 2017 and the car was completed in May of 2019.  All high quality components and paint.  The car is gorgeous!  All work done in Ontario Canada.  Wayne has over $100,000 Cdn invested in it.  Lots of pictures and documentation available including pictures of the car on a trailer arriving from California with CA plates.
Some of the key information on this show quality vehicle :
-   Original all steel body
-   Boxed custom frame by Paul Horton
-   No chopping
-   High quality black cherry paint
-   Rootlieb hood
-   32 grill shell and grille
-   Custom front and rear pans
-   Bobbed rear fenders
-   Custom pin striping
-   Flip out windshield
-   Black leather bench seating
-   Tilt wheel
-   Classic gauges
-   Led lighting
-   Stereo with power antenna
-   Custom built 16 (imperial) gallon steel gas tank in rumble seat area
-   Highly dressed 289 built to K code specs except for hydraulic cam and lifters
-   New Walker custom rad / electric fan
-   Powder coated headers
-   C4 transmission
-   Rebuilt Ford 9” rear end
-   Coil over suspension
-   Power rack & pinion steering
-   Wilwood 6 piston power front brakes
-   Magnaflow stainless exhaust
-   New Toyo tires and Salt Flats wheels
-   Battery turn off switch
-   Comes with custom car cover

The odometer shows 4,000 miles.  Wayne says he has only put a little over 600 miles on the rod since it was finished.  Again, over $100K Cdn invested.  Wayne is asking $55K Cdn which converts to about $43K US at the current exchange rate.
If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact Wayne directly at 705-445-6338 or at wamapitman@gmail.com  The car is located in Collingwood, Ontario, about 90 miles north of Toronto and about a three hour drive from Buffalo.

No idea why 2 out of 3 pictures are upside down.  Anyone know how to fix that?

Every computer or phone I have had over the last 20 years will allow you to rotate picture with a few clicks and then save it that way. Go to your picture gallery and check it out for future use.
