Hello.  I'm new to the forum and the new owner of MK1 #50.
I've been cleaning up the car a bit.  I started with dry ice blasting of the complete undercarriage, suspension and engine compartment.  Currently has 3,623 miles on it.  You're welcome to take a look on Instagram or Facebook at @motorator

What year is your Lightning and are you a member of NLOC? I've got a 93 Supercharged, Supercab Grabber Blue one.
If it starts it's streetable.
Overkill is just enough.

Welcome to the forum M,

Congrats on getting the MKI. I talked to the previous owner back in 2013.
I have a photo of it in front of his house in Staten Island
It's a nice car with low mileage.
Enjoy!

Richstang, thanks for welcoming me.  I'd love to see the photo that you got.

TA Coupe, your truck looks great.  Mine is a 1995.  I'm not a member of NLOC yet.  My truck also has a supercharger on it.  In fact, it's an original Ford Motorsport / Powerdyne that was emissions legal from the Ford Motorsport catalog.  The truck is getting some work done on it soon.  An all-aluminum, Dart 427 with a ProCharger along with some really creative suspension pieces.

Motorator, my truck was the prototype truck for the Powerdyne. I had it on display in front of the SEMA SHOW with Ford in 94 and the following year they wanted it on display in front of the convention center after they saw the supercharger. They immediately called for a Lightning to be shipped to Powerdyne to have one installed so they could do some durability testing before offering it for sale through their motorsport program. The truck has been in 7 magazines.
