For the most part "teens" of SAAC are more likely to be grandkids and more interested in the cars of Team Shelby.

I was one of the first to promote her business.
I shared it and it got 800,000 views via my page very quickly.

Two things:
-I enjoy competition. I wish there was a young person doing restorations so I have more incentive to work harder. Customers would benefit from higher quality and price competition.

-She is seeing a lot of fame and benefits very quickly without having had to do a lot of work to get there.
The next year or two will determine the outcome there. It would be really easy for her to cash in on you tube fame vs having her work do the talking.

Now we wait and see. I certainly hope it works out for her and increases interest and awareness of mechanical things with the under 30 crowd.

I was tongue-in-cheek about her being competition for you.

I posted a week or so ago about how I still believe in the traditional apprentice system, and of the real-world benefits it can provide for all involved.

I started it because it is a "feel good story" Nice to see. My friend's feel good story is Jeff Stehpens, the first wheel he ever did was mine #2195 I am sure there were many mistakes if you saw it today, but it started him learning, and he still does them today. From a kid who woodworked at 16 to today at 53? WOW EFFEN WOW.
