Honestly,to me leaving the country because of ANYONE is unAmerican ...You STAY and "fight the power"(whoever that power might be)THAT is the American way....It's called Democracy...Turning tail and running is FOR SURE is not the American  way...Not a political statement(at all) just my opinion..

More info on the current and previous movie projects.
No mention of an actor in the part of Enzo, but Ken Miles (Christian Bale) and Lee Iacocca (Jon Bernthal) are named.

If filming is starting this summer I wonder if anything will be done at LAX?

Probably use a Hollywood sound stage as they look like hangers.  Or the Ontario airport.

There would be HUGE security issues in doing extended filming at LAX..read expense..won't happen..

Who will they get to play Phil Remington? He will be in the movie won't he?

In addition to casting, I wonder how the racing scenes will be portrayed. Will the Ken Miles actor be behind the wheel in the race sequences? Will they even use real Ford GTs or replicas? Will they even film the three car finish at LeMans? Or will it all be cgi images?

And be prepared for composite characters and dramatic scenes that never occurred.

So we stopped by RCR outside Detroit prior to heading up to RA for the IMSA races last weekend.
RCR supplied the GT40 used in Fast & furious 5,
and while talking to Fran it came out they are suppling cars for this movie project.

MK-I's, MK-II's, Ferrari 250LM, 275GTB and I think 330 P2.

He's read a version of the script, reportedly Robert De Niro plays Enzo.
story focus is on Ken Miles.
