We are selling #2381 which was one of the Shelby Prototypes/Engineering cars used for testing the 302 with emissions.   The Shelby inventory number was 073 and is listed on many internal Shelby documents along with the Green Hornet and Lil' Red.    Very rare and first time for sale in decades.    Recently won SAAC gold and is restored with mostly NOS parts collected over 15 years.    Acapulco Blue with Black interior.    Automatic, just like most of the engineering/test cars were.    Currently the car has a 67 hipo engine and is shown as in "pre modified" state.    The XE experimental block along with standard non emission heads are included (were on the car when we received it).    Our thought is the top end was taken off the engine prior to disposal of the car by Shelby/Ford.   Many think this was a test car for the street version of the 302 tunnel port engine.    That I will leave up to the experts.
$350,000.    darren@shelbyparts.com    www.shelbyparts.com    We will have pictures up on our website and facebook page later today.    Please contact me direct with questions.   Thanks!
