Hi guys,

This wheel looks like a re-pop.   Do you agree?  The seller's asking a price as if it were original 1966. Don't be fooled.

Take care

Cory

It must be something special given it is a 15 inch wheel description in the title (sarcasm ?) 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra GT350 10 Spoke 15" Inch Tire Rim  ;) . For those reading that may not be aware the original 66 aluminum wheels were 14 inch.

I think that guy, and others I've dealt with, believe it's a 15" wheel because the outer rim diameter is about 15".

Hi Doug,

These are original and are very nice with a matching price tag.  I believe they are the first batch of 66 GT350 ten spoke wheels.  A set of four is very rare.  They usually got mixed in the later slightly narrow version with the spokes running to edge.

Thank you for sharing.

Cory, thanks and your comments are much appreciated - I have a set of 5 original (thinking that they are not a early set) that I am thinking of putting on my 66 Red Hertz car.

The listing party just isn't familiar with how to measure wheels.  They probably also have the width wrong.  4.5"?

The weight looks pretty close at 22 lbs, but I wouldn't bank on it.  This also might be a way to confirm original or repop.  The seller really has messed up.

Reference for the bolt circle.  5 on 4.5.
