Is it just me or does anyone else think its in
really poor taste to say the least that Craig Jackson comes
down from the auction block to bid against his paying customers on
a car he wants?

Well, it could also be done in the interest of transparency.  He could have simply made the owner an offer he couldn't refuse and bought it before it even consigned.  Letting it go to the auction means he's just another bidder.......with very deep pockets.
