I have a black boot for a 68 Gt 500 convertible.

It looks original.
Is there a way to identify this part?

The letters "GS" are stamped all over underneath but no part number

Thanks!

Outside texture and sometimes month and year date code stenciled on the inside. I had a 69 one handy and it had BP-4-69 for example .

I see the stamp GS in a circle on multiple locations.

I'm quite sure it's original but would feel better knowing before I advertised it.
Not even sure what it's worth....

None of these fit very well...

Thanks Bob

Hello capecod I need one as mine is in bad shape. I can,t find a part number on it. But under GS circles in large numbers is a date of 8 67.

Mine is dated 4 68

68 boot uses nylon lip sewn into edges to grip over top belt molding.  67 still uses multiple snaps on that molding.
The bulk fabric will have a batch date stamped on the back; plus evidence of glue for both foam pads.
