Finishes and name that part?

Happy summer fellas!

Gearing up to reassemble (a year later) and resources are a little lighter than when I began! Hoping you can help me out with some finishes and naming a handful of questions marks...

Finishes:

Motor mount brackets? (Black?)
Alternator bracket and arm? (black?)
Sway Bar bushing bracket? (Natural?)
AC idler pulley? (Black?)
Lower AC bracket? (Black?)
Water Valve Motor and Guard bracket? (Goldish looking?)

These are the big question marks for me, as far as parts and finishes go -

First photo brackets for front end are semigloss black
Second photo all motor mount brackets were originally bare steel except the insulators
Third picture not a Shelby part
Fourth picture lower radiator brackets are semigloss black

Alternator brackets upper and lower area semigloss black
Sway bar bushing brackets are bare steel
Ac idler pulleys are black on a phosphated bracket
Lower a compressor bracket is cast iron
Water valve is plated gold cadmium

So, whats the process for mimicking or replicating plated gold cadmium? Or, at the very least, bringing out the shine of an original?

Actually gold zinc. It is referred to as zinc dichromate. I hate to say it but there is no good way of mimicking the look IMO. Eastwood sells a paint system of three different colors that when combine in a special order give somewhat of a look of the zinc gold. The original finish if rubbed on will not shine up but rub off revealing a silver sub surface.The best way is have the part re plated. If the part is very rust pitted after bead blasting it is not worth the effort.

I appreciate the kind words and help. To be honest, I was a little hesitant bringing this to the board... Haven't seen much in the way of 'basic' questions and I didn't want to waste anyones time. Furthermore, and just to put it out there - I take full responsibility for not better documenting my tear down. I have over 1000 images, just didn't cover enough!

To that end, if anyone has some images and/or best practices for reassembling the front end (fiberglass, shelf, brackets, etc), it'd be helpful!
