Lighted Mustang pony grill emblem, has any ever seen one of these, it was supposed to be a dealer installed option ?

Yes, my buddy had one in his 1966 Mustang for years.  It was an over the counter Ford aftermarket part "back in the day".

+1. I've seen several period grille lights over the past 30 years.

They were made by an aftermarket company - well a number of them. Some were sold through the dealerships and parts catalogs as well as through other sources.  Reproductions with the horse shape molded into a opaque/white background were made in the early 80's and packaged then sold as NOS for many years.  Last one I saw was on Ebay  somewhere around 2010. Still being sold as an original from the 60's  ::)

As mentioned.  I've seen these in the J.C. Whitney and Warshawsky catalogs.

The photo of Shelby on the motorcycle (moped?) is a Honda trail 55 cc. It was the first trail bikes that Honda made. It was the trail 50, you can tell by the double rear chain sockets, one for street and the larger one for off road.  They came with a chain extenior. My older brother won one when Honda of Orlando came to Fla. as a grand opening.

Any idea what assembly plant that is?  Looks like a falcon on the other side.  Great pic!
