Wasn't sure where to put this, it fits two categories, bit about the Galpin Ford rumble seat Mustangs, and a couple of  '67 Shelbys (scroll down a bit ), I'm not sure if this has been up here before.

Can't make out the license plate on the Comet, but this location looks like Los Angeles area.

I thought it was a vintage photo, but then...satellite dishes.

yea I guess not ……..must be from the movie set
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Looking at the pic shows a few things that are out of place... Modern fork lift, satellite dishes, non black and gold plates on the Comet, bars on the windows of homes. Back in the 30s-40s when many of these homes were built there was no need for bars on widows and doors, a lot has changed since then :-\

Totally agreed on the bars on the windows and other things you mentioned. Also, looks like the Comet has radial tires.  Plus, that's a more modern street lamp than what was in use in the 1960s.

If this is from the movie, we will have a grand time pointing out all the things that they missed.

Wedgeman, that is a neat pic of the '68. The sponsor of the car "Maskin Flytiningar" is a company that does heavy machinery moving, the town listed below that is Motala, it's in Sweden, it's about half way between Stockholm and Gothenburg.

Texas Swede might know more.

Great shots - thanks for posting.

Wonder if the driver/owner is taking the photo or if the patrolman owns the car??

Someone could trace that plate.....
Great photo!

Another interesting detail of State Trooper photo appears to be that despite (whatever) the age of the photo (may be) the vehicle has already been converted to early style “inboards”.

Biggie,
I don't follow your thought of a conversion to inboards on the WA state / trooper photo.
That is not something I can imagine ever happened.

A conversation to outboards at a dealer yes, but not the other way around to inboards.

That’s kinda what I’m getting at. Photo looks really old but that doesn’t look like an early car for several reasons but has inboards.
