Old picture of the first Shelby I rode in. This picture was taken around 1977ish. The car belonged to a friends brother who worked at the Ford plant with his dad . I'm still friends with the family to this day (He helped put my engine in my GT 500 recently) Car was eventually painted a brilliant white with no side stripes. The brother sold the car in the 80's. Never saw it again. Always wondered what happen to that car.

The owners index in the 2011 registry might help to ID the Shelby VIN by your friend's family name. The footnotes might help offer more info on the history.

I thought there was something familiar, I'm talking about the car  ;) in that photo, and I had another photo in my files. The tag is

visible now, maybe we can put a CSX # on it.

That's the "tuxedo" Cobra.

Tom,...why is it called That?
Because I hate all the effort it takes to click on a link to who knows where.

I had that poster, matted and framed. Sadly Mr. Sump Pump failed
and water in the basement claimed it.

Should have hung it higher on the wall?
