Would anyone happen to recognize this location?
I believe it was in 1971.

Rich, that's what I was wondering ? I think it could be Mid Ohio ?

Mike

Edit: pretty sure it's Mid-Ohio, here's the AVS Shadow Can-Am car from '70 (couldn't find a pic in my files of a Ford that shows the

building  ;) not many photos that show structures, they weren't interesting !) we can see that building behind, windows match with

the pic of the Mustang.

JD

The license plate on the Pontiac wagon and the Ford pick-up look as though they could be 1971 Ohio Plates...

I should know if that's Mid-Ohio (was there many times in that time frame) but for some reason (old age?) that building doesn't come to mind.

Maybe Tom H will see this and chime-in.

JD, the building changed quite a bit from the mid 60's into the '70s, that's why I had trouble with I.D. as well

Thanks guys.
It appears there were 11 races for the T/A series in 1971.

5-8-71 Lime Rock, CN
5-31-71 "Bryar" Louden, NH
6-6-71 "Mid-Ohio; Mansfield, OH
6-20 "Players" Edmonton, Alberta Canada
7-4-71 Donnybrooke, MN
7-18-71 "Road America" Elkhart Lake, WI
8-1-71 St. Jovite, Quebec Canada
8-15-71 Watkins Glen, NY
9-6-71 Irish Hill, MI (MIS)
9-19-71 Kent Washington
10-3-71 "Mission Bell" Riverside, CA

This list helps limit the possibilities.
The building in the Can-Am photo Mike posted from Mid-Ohio looks very similar to the T/A photo.
