I like the Indy styled wing symbol on the door ;D
The OSHP still uses the same insignia today. The insignia originated in the 1930's and is federally trademarked.

I remember a dark green 427 Cobra that sat in the showroom front window for about a year at Universal Ford (downtown Akron Ohio not too far from GoodYear headquarters - dealership and building has been gone for many years), may have been the car in the ad.

A local dealer had two Cobras with 428s that sat unsold in their showroom for two years. One red and one blue. IIRC they were under $5,000 ea.

427heaven

I ended up with some of Georges old race car tunnel port parts, I might infuse some of the VINTAGE go fast technology into my car to really make it a good runner! One of the most feared competitors of his time, in both the Willys and the Mustang. Great memories...

Thanks for posting that pic of the '68 in the camping area, same car,  same place, different  view. In the first pic there is an

emblem/badge in the centre of the grill ?

Mike

in the 2nd. pic are those what looks like exhaust sticking up ? Any ideas where these might have been taken ?

2112 thanks for the id on those wheels on the Lincoln !
