     Now I have a question:  How much axle vertical travel was made available in this chassis?

   IIRC  6-8" total. Kept the shock in the "sweet spot".

OK, from back a page reply #2697 posted by "C5HN", #3 looks to be a panhard rod, are the other two acting to limit movement like traction bars?

#1 is the sway bar attached to the watts link crossmember
#2 is the over ride traction bar
#3 is the watts link bar

This is the same set up I have on my car.
