Yes true, but to get to Van Nuys from Culver City, we often took the canyons, including Laurel and Coldwater, to get there.  Fun twisty roads and hardly any traffic at night, back in the day.   

I think Frank lived in Laurel Cyn.   

As for the OP...cool "girl next door" chick and slot mags on the 'Stang.   8)
