Went to the infamous Los Angeles /Pomona antique auto swap meet over the weekend & here's a couple interesting pics for you ,love the Ford Econo van with the 10 spokes & who says all 67's are getting turned into Eleanor clones, this one looks like a mad max version.

Too bad you didn't get there in its heyday. Today Long Beach is a better choice for parts/deals.

Sorry you didn't talk to the 10 spoke guy. I'm sure he had some type of Shelby chicken ranch/terlingua/crew/parts/prototype story to drive the price up.

I haven't been in a few years. Last car thing I went to there was the 70th birthday party for Hot Rod and In N Out. Not quite my back yard (4 mi away) but we can hear when the top fuel cars run. When I was a reserve for LASD I got to run the old road course that they now use most of for their EVOC training.

I took one of my cars to Pomona Sunday, first time 40+ yrs (?). The 'swap meet' was a bust IMO despite most vendor stalls taken. Great place to by a broken child's tricycle or perhaps some 'Raiders' logo'd items. However the automobile turnout was spectacular. Well worth attendance and a return perhaps this spring. But an automobile swap meet it was not.

Yes more of a low rider gathering now.

Thats too bad about the swap meet. I have been going for the last 45 years and has always had a huge gathering of everything from VW S to low riders to broken tricycles. Stayed away during covid... Boss of mine from neighboring San Dimas,  Non vaxer died 2 weeks ago, said its a conspiracy, no one is going to tell him what to do. He was good until he wasnt... :'(
