Anyone else notice the decompression vent holes on the Cobra trunk lid?

Sure. That car belongs or did belong to Bill and Bud Jones from Virginia. The first owner added those vents for competition purposes and the car holds the distinction of the only Cobra sold as a separate chassis and body.
In case you don't know, it is the subject matter of the '70s poster, "an adventure in renting - rent and adventure".
I used to be good with the Cobra numbers, like Scudder is but of hand I can't remember the number. It is of course in the "Registry".
It was a regular at club events in the '70s "locally" and I presume that is about the date of that picture.
I haven't seen the car in about 30-35 years.
