Where is Max' Sunbeam today?

Good question! I've never read anything regarding the cars from the show.... but I do recall noting during an episode that the "same Tiger" was not the "same", whitewalls with hubcaps vs the LAT70 alum wheels [or something]. Plus the Alpines used for at least some of the trickery. I'll try to remember to ask around at the TE/AE convention next month and see if anyone has any real info.

was your car sold at horn Williams?
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Was this ever installed and run in a car ?  Maybe it's an April fools post from Ford Muscle.com  ;)

^^^^looks a lot like the V-12 Ford built for Sherman tanks.

I would love to learn more if it truly was a 12 cylinder FE.

Judging by the view, that engine is sitting in a dyno test cell.  Water lines look hooked up, stuff like that.  I hope somebody finds more photos of this.

As I suggested in my post of the V12 SOHC, it could be a joke ?   ::) The Stooges seem to think so   :D

As much is suggested here:

^^^^looks a lot like the V-12 Ford built for Sherman tanks.

That would be the Ford GAA (in Sherman tanks) & the GAF (in Pershing tanks) & GAN (in T23 tanks) which are of a 60° V8 configuration, and a GAC (in T29 & T30 heavy tanks) this version was a V12 engine.

I have a GAA V8, I'm still trying to figure out what car to build around it. They're a 60° V8, at 1100 cubic inches, 180° flat steel crank, pent-roof combustion chambers, 4 valves per cyl., dual overhead cams, operating buckets over valves, dual mag. ignition, aluminum block & cylinder head construction, all the modern stuff, ala the 1940's;  they're physically larger than the photo-shopped V-12 Cammer.

You know, if you drop one from high enough, it'll fit..........right!   :o

Side-Oilers

What kind of carburetion?

HP and torque numbers?

I bet with a set of headers it'd sound pretty mean.

Scott.    Build an oversized boss 9 around it(like dimensionally 50% bigger). You will have the only one!!! 8)

gt350hr

The GAA engine ( like Scott has) is NOT the same as in the photoshopped image. The GAA is a HUGE engine that dwarfs a Boss 9 or cammer . There were internet pictures of one installed in a '69 Mustang and it looked more like a Hot Wheels car with the huge engine bulging out of the engine compartment. I've seen Scott's engine in person and it really is BIG.
