Here's a sweet looking one   8)  at the USRRC Greenwood Iowa, July 19th. 1964. this might have been posted in the old forum ?

Is it just the light ? the door colour looks different

Same event , USRRC, Greenwood Iowa July '64, likely the same car, another day with the hard top off ?
Any idea on the # ? you can see the tag on the back, could be a clue ?

Much the same body and configuration as what was used to built the Revell car of the same time period

    Jeff  you are correct it was not made from a real car. Berry Plasti glass parts were used. I IRC the car is owned by Brent Hajek in OK.

The chassis was from their Willys. The same thing happened with the "Ohio George" 33 Willys, Ford said if you are going to have Ford sponsorship you need to be running a Ford body, George was running a "Cammer" by that time.

 Correct. They didn't rebody the '66 Mustang funny car because it didn't fit the AA/GS class rules that this car ran in . They always ran 392 based engines.
