The wing looks very suspicious like a 1970 Plymouth Superbird or 1969 Dodge Daytona wing.

Thanks for sharing.

A friend sent me these pictures of a Pantera he found in a wrecking yard in Mexico.  I am guessing sometime in the 80's or early 90's.  He didn't give me any other information.

I think that I know this Pantera. It was in a "salvage yard" in Atlanta around 1983. They wanted something like $15,000 for it then. At the time you could get an entire new exterior shell from Hall for $18,000. All factory original parts.

I'm not aware of anyone who bought it. It might still be there? The stack of wrecked Gr4 factory cars that I saw were in about 1000% better shape then this thing.

The Cosby Cobra, after it was driven off of a cliff was better too. I'm not sure how a car can get wrecked this badly?

Zoomies were like a reverse side pipe... a long(ish) glass-pack muffler attached to your header collector.  upon exiting the muffler it split into 4 individual pipes exiting before the rear tires.  The tips were typical screw-attched tips; they cam blunt, angled, belled, bent bell... had them with air shocks to get the ground clearance.  I don't recall they were popular for long in the mid 70s up to about the time ready-made custom vans became the rage.

The commercial called him the 'Marlboro Man'. Everyone else called him the 'Marble Row Man'.

Double page spread, Sept. 1984 Sports Car Graphic.

I'm sure everyone here has got this issue...

One of Rick Titus' first articles in the revived SCG. We picked the car up from McClusky's and Petersen had to put a million dollar insurance policy on it. I drove it about 1/2 lap from turn 4 back to the pits - at about 20 mph.

I still have an unbound proof. No folds or staples.
