The car posted by acman63 is the Daren GT out of England, bit off topic but here's some info and another pic in period. The car was found derelict in Singapore a while back (that's where those photos were taken I think ?) not sure if it's been restored.
I agree that there's a resemblance to the Lone Star, and also the Alan Mann Ford 3LTR prototype from '68

Some pics from Sebring 12 hour 1966. Neat bumper sticker, and a Hertz car in some official capacity.

Apparently, according to the blurb, he escaped any serious injury. :o

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Received these today from WASAAC member Terry Hill. They were found in the Washington State Archives under the Washington State Patrol files.

Anyone recognize the car?

Great shots - thanks for posting.

Wonder if the driver/owner is taking the photo or if the patrolman owns the car??

(Tail panel "flat", convex gas filler and exhaust trim rings, 10-spokes and two-piece vertical grille with emblem and 4- chrome trim rings on headlights - looks like it might be Brittany Blue.  Missing deck-lid emblem)

VERY COOL PHOTOS!!!
I'm sure we could narrow it down, but without a name it might be difficult to pin point. We can't see the model either.
Only two Shelby Dealers in Washington State; Metke Ford sold 34 cars and McCollum Motors sold 17 cars. Those number get cut in half if you include just Lime Gold and Brittany Blue. They get cut down in half again when we look at mid year production cars.
Limit those to just 10-spoke equipped cars and were looking at maybe a half dozen cars as possibilities.

EDIT; Looks like a parchment interior. That will narrow it down even more!

Picture is Western Washington.

McCollum was in Spokane, completely different treescape (predominantly firs in pictures) and topography. Not that someone wouldn't/couldn't  cross the state.
