That's what my thoughts were too. His face looks a little more "chunkier" that photos of sixties and the gray in his side burns.  Maybe even late 70's.

Head looks too big for the body....photoshop?

Is that a mickey mouse  decal on dash?

The term MICKEY MOUSE it together back in the day built some of the fastest, best ideas of its time. Thinking outside the box like our COBRA is fast with a 289, lets put a 427 in it and see what happens..... The rest is history ;)

Dual quads?  Saw a Lemans pedigree GT40 years ago at a SAAC event at Limerock.  Was excited to see it sporting a pair of center squirters same as I was running on my side oiler.  Was told the carbs were exactly as used at Lemans.  Curious if that is true.

gt350hr

Yes , hand made "SK" numbered center squirter carbs ,720 cfm each. I have a few sets myself and some smaller ones.

That pix of the guy sitting on the trailer, with CS's head, looks questionable to me too.  I can't recall ever seeing Carroll dressed so casually, can you guys?

I don't know who they are, but I think it proves that "size matters."
