Here's another shot of the Corvette, Carroll looks worried, and Roger Penske, second from left, isn't to forth coming to Mile's questions.

The Gran Sport picture must be before or at it's first race because it does not have any vents in the hood. They had a lot of trouble with front end lift and ended up with vents everywhere.

Believe that was a fastback customized for the era. Don't recall details about the car though. Believe SoCal
