Maybe this shot will work?  A photo of CSX 3336 from the online Registry, taken next to the same camper:
Wow, thanks Ned.  My understanding is that is/was the only 427 car with red interior, and one of only two that did not have black interior.

You are correct: the AC "Bible" (the production history) lists 3336 as being green with red trim.

The AC Registry shown in Trevor Legate’s book lists it as Green with Red trim, 8/12/66. I have no idea if that is correct and how it was shipped from England.

I love green cars, I love cars with red interiors. A green car with a red interior?  Not so much. We might never know, but not hard to imagine that the seats were changed to black before or at delivery to the first buyer.

I have a feeling the entry in the production list was an error. That, or it was changed, as the AC Cars invoice to Shelby American for CSX 3336 lists a green car "with black trim."

I have seen a car that combined a red interior with green resembling 1966 Ivy Green.

You might be surprised. I fell in love with the combo immediately.

True.  I owned a Porsche 356 for a long time that was yellow with green interior.  Sounds horrible, but worked really well on the car and everyone seemed to love it.

Sun roofs: The one on the coupe looks very much to be an ASC sunroof.  Dealers had to have the car shipped to ASC to get the sun roof installed.
The fellow who painted my 67 GT 350 back in the 1980's had a 68 GT Mustang Fastback with that roof.  Turns out the car was eventually turned into a drag car and ran with a group called the Chicago Outlaws.  I haven't seen the car in any advertising for the past ten years.

There is also this one.  It is a very Light Green Metallic and that is the original Owner standing with it.  The Photo does not do the green Justice. it is lighter than Lime Gold.

It's not as if there has never been a green 427 Cobra with a red interior...but it wasn't factory, and it didn't stay that way for long.

Hank Williams' 289 really isn't green. It was painted Princess Blue many years ago, and the clear coat is turning yellow. Now you'll remember from 2nd grade art class, blue + yellow = Green!

The yellow visors really tie the whole thing together...

Here's a new project for Richstang and anyone else:  Identify those boys in the above iconic 1967 photo with CS.

I would guess that the boys had some direct connection to Shelby employees, or friends of employees.

Each one of those guys would undoubtedly still remember that memorable day and photo.

Thanks Mike!  I had not seen that photo before.

Note that the kids are wearing Keds sneakers.   Remember when every kid wore those, back in the days before Adidas and the rest of the sports shoes appeared?
